The CAES Commodity Training Programme is designed for practitioners: commercial people who are developing in the commodity business.
With years of development in Switzerland building a bespoke course with clients created a commercial training programme. This covers the international trading & transportation of commodities; from origination to vessel-loading, to global delivery and into processors for consumption.
Since May 2014 the course was opened to other clients, starting with a private course in Dubai followed by open courses in Geneva and Dubai. In 2015 there has been a further private course for a client in Montreux with an open course in Istanbul, Dubai and Geneva.
Drawing on more than 75 years of first-class practical experience and knowledge of the presenters, the purpose of these courses is to provide commercially relevant training so that participants develop a better understanding of markets and how they interact with execution risks. The courses are suitable for trainees and newly promoted staff in trading, shipping and import export companies; grain and oilseed processors; vegetable oil and bio-fuel companies and port authorities.
They are also suitable for middle management in administration and risk management departments. We can offer wide ranging flexible modular sections which can be selected to suit individual and company requirements.
